We are currently seeking a smart, honest, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our vibrant team in Nigeria and ensure seamless financial transactions at our establishment.
Key Responsibilities- Process customer payments accurately and efficiently using cash, POS terminals, and bank transfers.
- Issue valid receipts, invoices, and maintain proper transaction records for daily accounting.
- Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, reconciling any discrepancies immediately.
- Handle billing inquiries professionally and resolve customer payment issues with tact and patience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure cashier station in compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure a smooth and pleasant checkout experience for all guests.
- Minimum of OND, SSCE, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated basic math skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Previous experience working with POS systems and digital payment platforms is a distinct advantage.
- High level of honesty, responsibility, integrity, and personal discipline.
- Ability to remain calm and focused while working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
