About the Role
Whassan Nigeria Limited (WENL), in partnership with Adasa Catering Services Ltd, has been a trusted provider of premier catering and facilities management services since 1982. We currently require the expertise of a skilled Cook specializing in both continental and national dishes to join our dynamic team across offshore and onshore locations in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a wide variety of high-quality continental and national dishes following strict recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards within the kitchen environment.
- Assist with menu planning, food presentation, and recipe interpretation to guarantee exceptional dining experiences.
- Manage kitchen demands, handle heavy workloads, and maintain efficiency during long working hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to multitask, meet strict meal schedules, and uphold organizational standards.
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven industrial catering experience in a similar role.
- Relevant culinary qualifications and mandatory food safety certification.
- Catering certification will be considered a distinct advantage.
- Strong understanding of culinary techniques, kitchen hygiene, and inventory management.
- Excellent English communication skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
