About the Role
Qualis Business Support Services Ltd, a premier professional human resource service firm focused on capacity building and professional excellence, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chief Operations Officer (COO) to join our executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing robust management structures across our Lagos and Ibadan offices, holding teams accountable, reducing operational expenses, and scaling profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a functional operating model for Lagos and Ibadan offices with clearly defined reporting lines and standard operating procedures.
- Supervise daily business operations, resolve routine internal matters, and streamline escalation processes for significant strategic issues.
- Assess employee capabilities, address skill gaps, and build a high-performing, accountable workforce.
- Oversee technical operations leveraging prior solar industry experience, reviewing site audits, system designs, bills of quantities, and project execution.
- Drive commercial performance by establishing disciplined sales pipelines, boosting conversion rates for solar installations, and monitoring gross margins.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proven executive-level experience managing operations within a solar energy, inverter, or power-solutions company in Nigeria.
- Demonstrated expertise in technical project oversight, financial management, and organizational restructuring.
- Exceptional leadership, conflict resolution, and communication skills with a track record of driving revenue growth.
