About the Role
Lily Hospitals Limited, a leading multi-specialty private healthcare provider established in 1984, is seeking a responsible, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, maintaining rigorous record-keeping, and ensuring excellent patient and customer service experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and process cash, cheques, POS, and electronic transfers accurately and promptly.
- Verify patient invoices, bills, discounts, and approved payment adjustments before processing.
- Perform daily cash and payment reconciliations, preparing accurate collection reports.
- Safeguard cash holdings, maintain strict financial confidentiality, and adhere to security procedures.
- Attend to patients courteously, providing accurate billing information and resolving payment queries professionally.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all transactions, refunds, and financial vouchers to support internal audits.
- Comply with organizational financial policies, internal controls, and banking procedures.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Cashier, Teller, or in a similar financial role, preferably within a healthcare or customer service environment.
- Exceptional numerical accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using POS systems, accounting software, and Microsoft Office applications.
