About the Role
Woodgate Structure Limited, a leading Human Resource Management and Business Structuring Company, is currently seeking a dedicated, professional, and detail-oriented Female Cashier for our client in Abuja. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the face of our business at the checkout counter, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining absolute accuracy in all financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers warmly and manage the checkout process efficiently and politely.
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Handle customer returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policy.
- Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, reconciling all daily transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure checkout area at all times.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding pricing, promotions, and store policies.
- Report any discrepancies, security risks, or operational issues to management promptly.
- Minimum of OND, SSCE, or equivalent professional certification in a relevant field.
- Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar retail customer service role.
- Exceptional numerical skills and high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Proficiency in operating point-of-sale systems and basic computer software.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and honesty.
- Must reside in or be able to commute easily to Wuse 2 or Garki, Abuja.
