Owolabi University, a newly established private institution licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and located in Osun State, Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and accomplished academic for the position of Associate Professor in Medical Laboratory Science within the Faculty of Allied and Health Science. Key Responsibilities- Provide strong academic leadership in teaching, curriculum development, and research within the Department of Medical Laboratory Science.
- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions.
- Successfully supervise and mentor postgraduate students in their research projects and academic pursuits.
- Contribute actively to departmental and university-wide administrative duties, committee work, and community service.
- Publish high-impact scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals to advance the institution's academic standing.
- Possess a PhD Degree from a reputable university in Medical Laboratory Science or a directly related discipline.
- Demonstrate clear evidence of academic leadership and a minimum of twenty (20) scholarly publications in reputable local and international journals.
- Provide verifiable evidence of successful supervision of postgraduate students at Master's or PhD levels.
- Possess a minimum of nine (9) years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution.
