Aptech Computer Education, a global leader in career education since 1986, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Software Engineer Instructor to join our team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of aspiring technologists by delivering high-quality instruction, fostering an engaging learning environment, and equipping students with practical, industry-relevant skills in software engineering and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive instruction on assigned IT and software engineering courses according to the Aptech curriculum.
- Provide engaging, hands-on training and real-world examples to enhance the student learning experience.
- Offer continuous mentorship, guidance, and academic support to students throughout their educational journey.
- Assess and evaluate student performance regularly through projects, assignments, quizzes, and formal examinations.
- Stay abreast of emerging industry trends, tools, and methodologies to continuously enrich course materials and training sessions.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in teaching, technical training, or relevant software engineering industry practice.
- Strong technical proficiency in full-stack development technologies including Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with modern software development frameworks such as React, Spring, and Django.
- Working knowledge of database administration systems like MS SQL Server, MongoDB, and MySQL.
- Exposure to cutting-edge fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Analytics is a strong advantage.
