About the Role
Iconic Open University, a fully licensed private open and distance learning institution by the National Universities Commission (NUC), is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ad-Hoc Examination Proctor and Supervisor for our upcoming assessment exercises in Maiduguri, Borno State. In this vital role, you will uphold academic standards, monitor computer-based tests, and ensure a seamless examination experience for our distance-learning students.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor Computer-Based Testing (CBT) examinations to ensure smooth technical execution and seamless student navigation.
- Enforce strict adherence to university examination rules, policies, and guidelines.
- Supervise the examination hall actively to prevent malpractice, cheating, or unauthorized communications.
- Assist in the secure distribution, management, and collection of relevant examination materials and attendance registers.
- Compile and submit comprehensive incident and conduct reports to the university examination committee after each session.
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree from a recognized institution with relevant professional or technical experience.
- Demonstrated prior experience in examination supervision, proctoring, or invigilation within a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must currently reside in Maiduguri, Borno State, with strong familiarity with the local academic environment.
- Proficient computer and web operating skills, specifically with CBT platforms and digital tools.
- Exceptional organizational, observational, and time-management skills.
