First Treebones Hotel & Resort, a premier luxury hospitality destination located in Umuahia, Abia State, is currently seeking detail-oriented and professional Accountants and Cashiers to join our expanding team. As we finalize preparations for our grand opening, we are looking for trustworthy finance professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily financial transactions, including cash handling, POS operations, and electronic payments accurately.
- Maintain comprehensive financial records, ledger entries, and daily sales reports.
- Reconcile daily accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure balanced cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Assist with payroll processing, inventory tracking, and accounts payable or receivable functions.
- Provide polite, professional, and prompt service to guests during payment processing.
- Adhere strictly to company financial policies, audit controls, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Candidates should possess a relevant degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
- Previous accounting or cashiers experience within the hospitality or service industry is a strong advantage.
- Must be hardworking, highly organized, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills with a well-mannered, professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
