About the Role

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and delivering vital reports that directly guide strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and profit-and-loss statements.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax laws, statutory remittances, and relevant financial regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any financial discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist with budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during periodic financial audits and reviews.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within a structured corporate environment.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or an active progress towards completion is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in modern accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and high ethical standards.
