About the Role
Addoz Consulting Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and competent Accountant to join our dynamic team in the agro-processing and cashew manufacturing sector. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, optimizing cash flow, and driving cost-effective manufacturing operations to support our overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and process invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.
- Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements, management accounts, and periodic financial reports.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely vendor payments and customer collections.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and reconcile accounts with suppliers, customers, and key stakeholders.
- Track production costs, inventory-related expenses, and operational financial activities within the manufacturing environment.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, financial forecasts, and detailed expenditure reports.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory tax obligations, regulatory standards, and internal audit requirements.
- Provide actionable financial insights and accurate reports to management to support strategic decision-making.
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
- 4 to 6 years of proven accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or agro-processing company.
- Active professional certification (ICAN or ACCA) or demonstrable progress toward completion.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and industry-standard accounting software.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial controls, bookkeeping, budgeting, and tax compliance.
