About the Role
Yomaz Hairline, a premier Nigeria-based luxury wig and raw human hair brand renowned for our signature Boss Bob and HD closure wigs, is looking for a talented and meticulous Accountant to join our growing team. In this hybrid, part-time role operating once or twice a week, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial health, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting our business expansion within the vibrant Nigerian beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate daily bookkeeping and prepare comprehensive financial reports.
- Manage tax computations and ensure timely tax remittances in compliance with Nigerian regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements, track expenses, and monitor cash flow efficiently.
- Utilize accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets for financial data management.
- Maintain high levels of integrity and confidentiality regarding sensitive financial information.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights for business growth.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven accounting experience.
- Active professional accounting qualification is an added advantage.
- Mandatory hands-on knowledge and experience with tax remittance.
- Prior working experience in the beauty or retail industry is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and consistently well-presented with a professional demeanor.
- Available to work on-site one or twice a week as required.
