About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Technical Stores Officer to join our dynamic operations in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily warehouse and inventory functions, ensuring that all technical tools, spare parts, and equipment are accurately logged, securely stored, and readily available to support seamless business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, store, and issue technical materials, tools, spare parts, and equipment efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, ledgers, and physical stock documentation.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and initiate timely replenishment requests to prevent operational downtime.
- Ensure proper storage conditions, safe handling procedures, and strict physical security of all items in the store.
- Conduct regular routine and periodic stock counts to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the procurement and technical teams to guarantee materials are available when required.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or BSc in Engineering, Technical Studies, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Possess 2 to 3 years of proven professional experience in stores management, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
- Strong working technical knowledge of industrial tools, machinery equipment, and specialized spare parts.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with modern computerized inventory management software systems.
