About the Role
TSL Logistics Limited is a leading provider of value-added supply chain management and logistics solutions across Nigeria and beyond. We are seeking a strategic and compliance-driven Team Lead, Strategy Advisory and Company Secretariat to align corporate governance with our overarching strategic objectives. In this vital dual role, you will act as both a legal risk manager and a commercial deal enabler, guiding the Board, Management, and Strategic Business Units (SBUs) in executing high-impact initiatives while ensuring full regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities- Guide Management and the Board in corporate strategy formulation, evaluation, execution, and risk assessment.
- Ensure 100% compliance with corporate governance standards and statutory obligations including CAC, NMDPRA, NUPRC, and NOTAP.
- Coordinate Board and Committee meetings, ensuring timely agendas, accurate minutes, and actionable resolutions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documents, including SPAs, joint venture agreements, and financing contracts.
- Lead legal due diligence and risk mitigation strategies tailored to the Nigerian logistics, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB/BL) with an active call to the Nigerian Bar.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of post-call experience in corporate and commercial law, governance, and transaction advisory.
- At least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity managing legal and secretariat teams.
- Professional certifications such as ICSAN or ECBA represent an added advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in Nigerian corporate law, regulatory filings, and oil and gas compliance frameworks.
