Key Responsibilities- Accurately interpret design sketches, mood boards, and technical specifications to produce high-quality garments.
- Perform precise pattern drafting, cutting, and fitting to ensure optimal garment structure and proportion.
- Operate industrial sewing equipment efficiently to execute clean stitching, hems, and complex seams.
- Conduct rigorous quality control checks on finished apparel to ensure superior finishing and durability.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting production deadlines.
- Collaborate with the design team to troubleshoot construction challenges and improve garment functionality.
- Proven professional experience as a tailor or garment worker within the fashion and apparel industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in pattern drafting, cutting, garment construction, and advanced sewing techniques.
- Deep understanding of textile behavior, specifically regarding colourful and printed fabrics.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing premium, export-quality apparel.
- Must reside within Surulere, Yaba, or immediate environs in Lagos State for seamless commuting.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
