About the Role
Owolabi University is a newly established private university located in Oke-Ila Orangun, Osun State, currently operating from its take-off site in Osogbo, Nigeria. Licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in June 2026, we are dedicated to widening access to quality higher education and preparing graduates for a fast-changing digital world. We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented System Programmer II to contribute to our growing technology infrastructure and support our academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust system software and applications to support university operations.
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and security across various campus platforms.
- Collaborate with IT staff and academic departments to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Maintain low-level hardware integration and operating system stability.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the university's digital infrastructure and software development lifecycle.
- Candidates must possess a good honours degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Informatics, or related disciplines.
- Proficiency in the use of high-performance programming languages is required.
- Sound technical knowledge of low-level hardware and operating systems will be a distinct advantage.
