About the Role
Goonite Hygiene is a dynamic manufacturing and distribution leader in the Nigerian FMCG sector, renowned for premium health and personal care brands such as Lebrace Diapers and Besense Sanitary Pads. We are currently seeking an experienced and meticulous Storekeeper to join our growing team at our facility in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State. In this vital role, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of our inventory, ensuring optimal stock management and seamless material flow to support our daily production goals.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming raw materials, packaging, and finished goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using digital systems and physical stock registers while ensuring strict compliance with FIFO and FEFO principles.
- Conduct routine physical stock counts, reconcile balances with system records, and promptly investigate any discrepancies or damages.
- Organize, label, and secure warehouse storage areas to prevent contamination, deterioration, or loss of company assets.
- Issue materials strictly against approved requisitions and coordinate closely with the Production Department to guarantee uninterrupted operations.
- HND or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern inventory management software.
- Exceptional organizational skills, high integrity, and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple warehouse tasks under minimal supervision.
