About the Role
Nepal Energy, a leading name in the importation, warehousing, and nationwide distribution of petroleum products, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Station Cashier to join our retail team in Kwara. In this role, you will be the frontline of our financial accountability, ensuring seamless payment processing, accurate daily reconciliations, and a professional customer experience at our filling station.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and process accurate payments via cash, POS terminals, and bank transfers for fuel, lubricants, and other station products.
- Reconcile daily sales and cash collections meticulously, ensuring zero discrepancies at the end of each shift.
- Maintain secure handling of all company funds, adhering strictly to financial controls and safety policies.
- Deliver courteous, prompt, and professional customer service while resolving or escalating transaction disputes.
- Manage POS terminals properly and report any technical or security irregularities immediately to the Station Manager.
- Minimum of OND, NCE, or equivalent in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a cashier, teller, or in a similar financial-handling role, preferably within the downstream oil and gas sector.
- High level of integrity, numerical accuracy, and keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in operating POS systems and basic financial record-keeping.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in shifts.
