Owolabi University is a newly established private university located in Oke-Ila Orangun, Osun State, and is currently operating from its take-off site in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. Built to widen access to quality higher education and prepare graduates for a fast-changing world, the University is the visionary initiative of Bishop Felix Owolabi and Right Rev'd Dr. (Mrs.) Temitayo Owolabi. Licensed on June 29, 2026, by the National Universities Commission (NUC), we are seeking a qualified and compassionate Staff Nurse I to join our dynamic Health Center team in delivering top-notch medical care to our university community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to students, staff, and visitors at the university health center.
- Administer medications, dress wounds, and monitor vital signs as prescribed by attending physicians.
- Assess patient conditions quickly and efficiently during medical emergencies, providing immediate first aid and life support.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records of all patients treated at the facility.
- Educate the university community on preventative healthcare, hygiene, and wellness best practices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth daily operations of the university clinic.
- Candidates must possess NRN or NRM or equivalent professional nursing qualifications.
- Current registration and valid practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
