About the Role
Greywood Hotels & Apartments is situated in a serene and well-secured environment, dedicated to providing clean, comfortable accommodation to corporate professionals and leisure guests alike. We are currently looking for a dependable and experienced Skilled Maintenance Officer to join our dynamic hospitality team and uphold our high standards of facility management.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance of hotel equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC units.
- Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from guests and internal departments.
- Repair or replace defective equipment, fixtures, and fittings throughout the hotel premises.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of tools and supplies.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Assist in setting up equipment and facilities for corporate events and functions.
- Report major maintenance issues or structural hazards directly to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the maintenance workshop and storage areas.
- OND, HND, or vocational/technical training in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, or a related field.
- Proven working experience in hotel, facility, or property maintenance.
- Solid knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects, bend, and work in varying conditions.
- Good communication skills and a proactive, guest-friendly attitude.
