About the Role
Christopher University is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security to join our prestigious School of Science and Technology in Mowe, Ogun State. As a Senior Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of cybersecurity professionals, combining theoretical knowledge with practical, industry-relevant skills to meet the evolving demands of both the public and private sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Cyber Security and related computing disciplines.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Conduct impactful, peer-reviewed research and publish findings in reputable local and international academic journals.
- Contribute actively to curriculum development, ensuring alignment with current industry standards and emerging cybersecurity trends.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students within the School of Science and Technology.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties, committees, and community engagement initiatives.
- Must possess a Ph.D. with a verified specialization in Cyber Security or a closely related computing discipline.
- Minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification, full-time teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated track record of academic leadership, administrative capability, and student mentorship.
- Strong portfolio of publications in reputable local and international peer-reviewed journals.
