About the Role
Amorville Nursery & Primary School is a reputable private educational institution located in the serene Idi-Aba area of Abeokuta, Ogun State. We are currently looking to hire a reliable and physically fit Security Personnel to join our dedicated support team and maintain a secure atmosphere for our pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor school premises, gates, and perimeters to prevent unauthorized access and ensure overall security.
- Manage the entry and exit of visitors, parents, vendors, and vehicles, ensuring proper documentation and verification.
- Patrol the school grounds regularly during day and night shifts to detect any suspicious activities or safety hazards.
- Enforce school security protocols and safety policies strictly across the premises.
- Assist staff and pupils with safe crossing and traffic management during morning drop-offs and afternoon pickups.
- Report any security breaches, maintenance issues, or safety hazards immediately to the school management.
- Operate and maintain security gadgets, gates, and lighting systems efficiently.
- Minimum of an SSCE, WAEC, or NECO certificate.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License is an added advantage.
- Previous proven experience working as a security guard or in a similar security role, preferably within an educational environment.
- Must be highly disciplined, alert, observant, and trustworthy.
- Must be in good physical condition and capable of standing for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and the ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
