About the Role
Dame Chops and Events is a dynamic retail and events business based in Alimosho, Lagos, known for providing affordable double padded ovens and mixers delivered nationwide. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Secretary to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as the administrative heartbeat of our office, ensuring smooth daily operations, efficient communication, and seamless coordination between management, staff, and our valued customers across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Answer and direct phone calls professionally while handling client inquiries regarding our baking equipment and services.
- Manage the daily, weekly, and monthly agendas, including scheduling meetings and coordinating appointments.
- Prepare, format, and disseminate official correspondence, memos, and administrative forms.
- Maintain and update comprehensive contact lists for employees, customers, suppliers, and external business partners.
- Develop, organize, and maintain an efficient digital and physical filing system.
- Monitor office supply inventory levels and place timely orders to prevent shortages.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and document office expenses for accurate reporting.
- Provide occasional reception duties, greeting visitors and offering general administrative support.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent academic qualification.
- Proven professional work experience as a Secretary, Administrative Assistant, or relevant office role.
- Strong familiarity with office management systems and organizational optimization techniques.
- Exceptional multi-tasking abilities with superb time management skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High degree of personal integrity, professionalism, and dependability.
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
