We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Secondary School Physics Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering world-class science education, inspiring students to excel academically, and fostering a deep appreciation for Physics through innovative teaching methodologies tailored to both Nigerian and international curricula.
Key Responsibilities- Understand curriculum requirements and create comprehensive lesson plans and educational content that satisfy both IGCSE and WAEC standards.
- Analyze the unique needs, strengths, and weaknesses of students, structuring lessons and formative assessments around their development.
- Adjust teaching methods and pedagogical approaches to suit diverse groups of learners and learning styles.
- Create engaging, stimulating lesson plans and utilize interactive questioning techniques to ensure students remain on track and actively participate.
- Prepare students comprehensively for WAEC, IGCSE examinations, and various external Physics-related competitions.
- Maintain a productive, disciplined, and positive classroom environment utilizing effective classroom management strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Physics or a closely related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Relevant professional teaching certification.
- Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification is a distinct added advantage.
- Demonstrated patience, innovation, and strong knowledge of modern classroom management and student discipline techniques.
