About the Role
Jaza Energy is a leading last-mile energy company building innovative solar energy charging stations and renting batteries in off-grid communities. To support our rapid expansion across the South-West states of Nigeria, we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Regional Service Engineer (RSE) based in Oyo State. In this role, you will lead a team of Field Service Engineers (FSE), manage regional technical operations, and ensure maximum energy uptime and robust power availability across all our solar hubs.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee FSEs in executing the setup of new hubs, ensuring seamless connectivity, and conducting regular maintenance on solar energy systems.
- Lead, mentor, and coach FSEs on industry best practices through regular training and professional development initiatives.
- Collaborate with Regional Coordinators, the Network Operations Centre (NOC) data team, and leadership to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Review FSE reports on hub energy performance and collate monthly performance reviews for the management team.
- Report directly to the Technical Manager to ensure strict adherence to technical protocols and HSE standards.
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on technical and engineering leadership experience within the solar energy, telecommunications, or related industries.
- Deep, proven expertise in solar installation, electrical design, and maintenance systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office suite.

- Ability to travel significantly within Nigeria and work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
