About the Role
Jaza Energy, a leading last-mile energy company building solar charging stations and battery rentals in off-grid communities, is expanding its operations in Nigeria. We are looking for an exceptional Regional Service Engineer to oversee our technical operations and manage a talented team of Field Service Engineers across the South-West region, with a current focus in Ekiti State. Key Responsibilities- Oversee Field Service Engineers in setting up new hubs, ensuring seamless connectivity, and performing regular maintenance on solar energy systems.
- Report directly to the Technical Manager to ensure efficient coordination and strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Lead, coach, and mentor engineering teams through regular training and professional development initiatives.
- Review performance reports, diagnose complex technical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve them quickly.
- Collate and share monthly performance review reports on power availability and hub energy performance with management.
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on technical and engineering leadership experience in the solar, telecommunications, or related energy industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in solar installation, maintenance, electrical design, and strict adherence to HSE standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and the MS Office suite.
- Ability to travel frequently across Nigeria to support regional expansion and hub development.
