About the Role
Genesis Group is a leading Nigerian catering, hospitality, and entertainment conglomerate with diverse business interests spanning hotels, restaurants, cinemas, and shopping malls. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Project Manager to join our growing team and drive our ambitious store expansion and renovation goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive project schedules, work breakdown structures, and milestone timelines for new store builds or renovations.
- Prepare and manage capital expenditure budgets, track project expenses, review contractor invoices, and prevent cost overruns.
- Hire, supervise, and coordinate general contractors, architects, engineers, sign makers, and equipment suppliers.
- Secure local building permits, health department approvals, zoning variances, and sign permits to ensure compliance with local codes and brand guidelines.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction quality, track daily progress, and resolve technical or logistical roadblocks.
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership, operations teams, and stakeholders on project status, risks, and budget forecasts.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience managing QSR or retail construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong financial acumen with a successful track record of managing capital expenditure budgets.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, and health regulations in Nigeria.
