About the Role
Nikki Partners is supporting the development of an innovative UK-based healthcare and aesthetics marketplace designed to connect patients with verified practitioners seamlessly. We are seeking a talented Product UI/UX Designer on a freelance basis to help take our established prototype and turn it into a fully polished, production-ready platform.
Key Responsibilities- Review and refine existing prototypes to improve usability, accessibility, and visual consistency across all user journeys.
- Design comprehensive multi-step workflows, including search and discovery, practitioner verification, bookings, payments, and dashboards.
- Create missing interface states such as loading, empty, error, and offline states for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Develop, maintain, and scale a robust, reusable Figma design system and component library.
- Collaborate closely with our Lead Technology Officer, providing design QA during implementation to ensure top-tier execution.
- At least 3 years of professional UI/UX or digital product design experience with a strong portfolio.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, components, variables, and developer handoff.
- Demonstrated experience designing complex web applications, dashboards, or multi-step booking systems.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and independent project ownership skills.
