About the Role
Estuary Business Solutions (EBS) is a leading IT and Business Services Consultancy located in Lagos, Nigeria, empowering public and private sector clients through strategic digital transformation. We are seeking a talented Product Specialist to support the planning, development, implementation, and lifecycle management of our advanced technology solutions. In this role, you will act as the crucial link between clients, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver exceptional digital products on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities- Support the end-to-end product lifecycle from strategy and discovery through to implementation and continuous improvement.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and project managers within an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and evaluate potential OEM partnerships to identify new revenue streams and product opportunities.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate go-live activities, and ensure seamless solution deployment and stakeholder readiness.
- Monitor product performance metrics, user adoption, and customer feedback to drive ongoing product optimization.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in product management, product ownership, or business analysis within IT consulting or software development.
- Strong technical proficiency in Agile methodologies, SDLC, requirements gathering, and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Professional certifications in Scrum, Product Management, or Business Analysis are a strong advantage.
