About the Role
Topgate Automations and Controls Limited is a leading engineering firm registered in Nigeria (RC 1096308), specializing in industrial automation, process control, instrumentation, and electrical installations. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Procurement & Logistics Officer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our engineering projects are supplied with quality materials on time and within budget, driving operational excellence across our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Source and procure high-quality goods, equipment, and services at competitive market prices to support ongoing engineering projects.
- Manage end-to-end supplier relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and conduct regular vendor performance evaluations.
- Coordinate logistics, monitor shipment schedules, and ensure timely and safe delivery of materials to project sites.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and inventory levels to enforce strict cost control measures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize inventory management and overall supply chain efficiency.
- Facilitate Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) training and awareness initiatives across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of proven professional experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound understanding of HSE standards and workplace safety practices.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
