Key Responsibilities- Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless network infrastructures.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of all ICT systems.
- Implement robust network security protocols, firewalls, and data backup procedures to protect institutional assets.
- Collaborate with the ICT team to deploy, upgrade, and maintain server hardware, operating systems, and network software.
- Provide technical support and guidance to academic and administrative staff regarding network and internet services.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network topologies, configurations, and inventory assets.
- Candidates must possess a good honours degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Informatics, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in network administration within a structured environment.
- Proven expertise in routing, switching, VLAN configuration, IP subnetting, and network security.
- Working knowledge of web design packages and content management systems will be an added advantage.
