About the Role
St. Camillus Catholic Hospital & College of Nursing Sciences is a premier Catholic healthcare institution and nursing college dedicated to providing quality medical services and education in Edo State. We are currently expanding our clinical team and seeking three qualified, compassionate, and driven Medical Officers to deliver comprehensive healthcare services to our growing patient community. In this vital role, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of dedicated professionals committed to clinical excellence, ethical medical practice, and holistic patient recovery within a reputable faith-based environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive medical care, thorough clinical evaluations, and consultations to outpatients and inpatients.
- Diagnose, treat, and effectively manage various acute and chronic medical conditions as well as emergency cases.
- Monitor patient recovery and progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate seamlessly with nursing and other allied healthcare staff to maintain high standards of patient safety and care.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient medical records in compliance with hospital standards.
- Participate in medical ward rounds, clinical audits, and continuous professional development programs.
- Possess an MBBS or MBChB degree from a recognized and accredited university.
- Must have current practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Completed mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of post-registration clinical experience in a recognized hospital setting.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
