About the Role
Belrald Health (operating as Belrald Diagnostics), a certified and trusted medical diagnostic center and clinical immunization facility in Ibadan, Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering comprehensive diagnostic services, upholding high standards of patient care, and contributing to our mission of dependable healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Perform accurate laboratory investigations, sample processing, and result validation within your professional scope.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Execute rigorous quality control, quality assurance, and laboratory safety procedures.
- Handle multi-disciplinary tasks spanning haematology, chemical pathology, microbiology, and other core laboratory disciplines.
- Maintain precise digital and physical documentation of all test procedures and results using computer systems.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) from a recognized institution.
- Current registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) with a valid annual practising licence.
- Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) with a discharge or exemption certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant hands-on work experience in a clinical or diagnostic setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in laboratory operations, safety protocols, and quality assurance.
