We are currently looking for a dedicated Mechanical Engineer / Maintenance Technician to join our operations and serve as the backbone of our machinery health, reliability, and continuous productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and prompt repair of mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Execute and meticulously document all preventive maintenance schedules using approved operational checklists.
- Monitor and manage critical spare parts inventory to ensure 100 percent availability for emergency repairs.
- Maintain accurate technical records, including equipment manuals, breakdown reports, and inventory logs.
- Drive continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing operational downtime and improving overall plant efficiency.
- Hold an OND, HND, or B.Sc Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Possess 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Maintenance or Mechanical Technician within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills with deep knowledge of complex production machinery.
- Possess the ability to accurately interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Maintain a proactive, highly reliable, and safety-conscious approach to all engineering tasks.
