About the Role
Glow FM Akure is a vibrant and popular radio station broadcasting from the heart of Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. Operating on 99.1 FM, our station has become a trusted household name, delivering top-tier entertainment and information to a wide and loyal listener base. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and results-oriented Marketing Canvassers to join our growing commercial team and help expand our market reach.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect and secure new advertising clients, sponsors, and business partnerships for the radio station.
- Actively canvas target locations, businesses, and markets within Ondo State to promote Glow FM brand and services.
- Present compelling media rate cards and advertising packages to prospective clients.
- Achieve and surpass assigned monthly and weekly sales and canvassing targets.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, feedback, and sales pipelines, reporting directly to the marketing management team.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting professional relationships with local business owners and corporate clients.
- Minimum of OND, NCE, SSCE, or equivalent professional qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in direct sales, field marketing, or brand canvassing, preferably within the media or advertising industry.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep familiarity with the Akure and broader Ondo State business landscape.
- Ability to work independently in the field and thrive in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
