About the Role
Beacon Power Services has been at the forefront of developing energy management software and providing advanced energy analytics in Nigeria since 2010. We are looking for a detail-oriented and client-facing Manager – Electrical Network & GIS to bridge the gap between our utility clients and technology team through expert network mapping, spatial analysis, and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities- Digitize, update, and maintain accurate GIS data for electricity distribution assets including HT/LT lines, transformers, and substations.
- Leverage GIS tools to analyze feeder performance, identify network inefficiencies, and reduce ATC&C losses.
- Collaborate with planning teams to assess feeder loading, voltage drops, and network expansion opportunities.
- Lead executive-level presentations for utility clients, communicating actionable insights on asset health and loss reduction.
- Serve as the primary liaison between utility clients, field operations, and internal technology teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in electricity distribution, power systems, and network topologies.
- Strong proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS Desktop/Pro, QGIS, or ArcGIS Utility Network.
- Familiarity with mobile GIS data collection tools and GPS/GNSS hardware.
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills with strong stakeholder management abilities.
