About the Role
Ultimum Limited is a fast-growing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages manufacturing company and the Nigerian-based subsidiary of Union Camerounaise de Brasseries. We are currently looking for a dynamic Maintenance Supervisor - Utilities to join our world-class manufacturing facility. In this role, you will lead the operations, first-line maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of all utility systems including water, electrical, heating, cooling, and effluent treatment to support our mission of delivering exceptional beverage products across Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily shift operations, maintenance, and repair of all utility systems to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for all utility assets.
- Conduct regular plant inspections and ensure strict compliance with safety, HACCP, and machine process safety standards.
- Supervise utility personnel, assign daily tasks, and coordinate targeted operational and safety training programs.
- Maintain accurate offline and online documentation of utility usage, energy consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Drive focused improvement maintenance (FIM) initiatives and execute emergency preparedness plans for prompt incident response.
- NABTEB, WAEC Technical, or OND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on production and maintenance experience, preferably within the food and beverage manufacturing sector.
- Strong working knowledge of utility plant processes, industrial safety standards, and autonomous maintenance principles.
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance planning, failure diagnosis, and data reporting.
- Proficiency in using SAP PM (or other CMMS software) and Microsoft Office suite.
