Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, accounting entries, and transaction documentation.
- Prepare, review, and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers efficiently.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure healthy cash flow.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and monitor company cash flow patterns.
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support payroll processing and facilitate statutory payments in compliance with local laws.
- Monitor departmental budgets, track ongoing expenses, and identify financial discrepancies.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal company policies.
- Liaise professionally with external vendors, banking institutions, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide necessary financial documentation and support during internal and external audits.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of proven hands-on accounting experience in a similar corporate environment.
- Must reside within Oshodi or its immediate environs for convenient daily commuting.
- Strong working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Professional accounting certification or active part-qualification such as ICAN or ACCA is a strong advantage.
