About the Role
Avetium Consult Limited is seeking a proactive IT Service Monitoring and Operations Officer to ensure the optimal performance, availability, and security of our IT infrastructure. You will play a vital role in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical incidents to minimize downtime in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor IT infrastructure and core services continuously using advanced monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Identify, isolate, and troubleshoot technical issues proactively to minimize system downtime and service disruption.
- Analyze performance metrics and data to optimize IT service delivery and recommend systemic improvements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional IT support and engineering teams to resolve complex incidents swiftly.
- Provide regular, detailed performance reports and actionable insights to key stakeholders and management.
- Maintain system security protocols and ensure adherence to organizational compliance standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in IT monitoring, help desk support, or a similar operations role.
- Proven proficiency in modern monitoring tools such as Grafana, SolarWinds, Nagios, or ManageEngine.
- Solid foundational knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
