About the Role
Hotel Capitol is a modern and contemporary hospitality destination offering luxury, comfort, and exceptional service at the heart of Omole Phase 1, Lagos. With 28 tastefully furnished rooms and luxury suites, we pride ourselves on delivering an unforgettable guest experience. We are currently looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Hotel Laundry Personnel to join our housekeeping and operations team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the pristine condition of our linens, uniforms, and guest garments, directly contributing to the comfort and satisfaction of every visitor who stays with us.
Key Responsibilities- Wash, dry, fold, and iron all hotel linens, uniforms, and guest laundry with utmost care and precision.
- Inspect all laundered items for stains, damage, or wear and tear, ensuring only top-quality items are sent back into circulation.
- Operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment including industrial washers, dryers, and ironing presses safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized laundry workspace in compliance with hotel sanitation standards.
- Coordinate promptly with the housekeeping department to ensure a steady and uninterrupted supply of fresh linens for daily room turnover.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service when handling special guest laundry requests or inquiries.
- Minimum of an SSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination) qualification.
- At least 1 year of proven professional experience working in a laundry facility, hotel, or related hospitality environment.
- Strong working knowledge and familiarity with commercial laundry machinery and fabric care techniques.
- Applicants must reside within close proximity to the hotel location, specifically around Ojodu Berger, Akute, Ogba, Agege, Ketu, Ojota, or Ikeja axes.
