We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy-Duty Electrician to join our dynamic team and support our expanding operations in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair heavy-duty electrical systems, industrial machinery, and specialized equipment.
- Diagnose complex electrical faults and execute rapid, effective corrective actions.
- Read and interpret intricate electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Ensure strict adherence to national and international electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Execute proactive preventive maintenance schedules to minimize operational downtime and extend asset life.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, and other multidisciplinary trades.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all repairs, routine inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Respond swiftly to emergency electrical breakdowns to provide reliable, timely solutions.
- Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven hands-on experience as a heavy-duty electrician in industrial or construction environments.
- Robust technical knowledge of industrial electrical systems, heavy-duty motors, transformers, and control panels.
- Proficiency in utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Demonstrated familiarity with local and international electrical safety codes.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.
