About the Role

We are currently seeking a strategic and dynamic Head of Service Center to lead our repair and maintenance operations for compression and rotating equipment based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will play a vital part in driving operational excellence, ensuring uncompromising safety standards, and delivering best-in-class service solutions to our valued customers across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and motivate a dedicated team of technicians and service project managers to achieve operational targets, focusing on lead time, cost reduction, and superior quality.
- Drive customer satisfaction initiatives by actively addressing feedback and implementing continuous improvement strategies.
- Ensure seamless coordination between the Service Center, regional sales, supply chain, and repair engineering departments.
- Maximize team potential through targeted talent development, ensuring high skill levels and operational flexibility.
- Champion stringent Environment, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) standards across all daily repair and inspection workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification combined with relevant industry experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing complex technical machinery, specifically in aftermarket and rotating equipment repair.
- Deep, demonstrated technical knowledge of compressor technology and industry standards such as ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and API.
- Fluent in English; additional language proficiencies are considered an advantage.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in non-conformance management and business improvement initiatives.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% to client sites and regional service centers.
