About the Role
Green Hills Agric Products Ltd (GHAP) is a pioneering agro-allied company transforming Nigerian cassava into high-quality bio-ethanol for sustainable energy solutions. Operating an advanced Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA) manufacturing facility in Edo State, we are committed to fostering a sustainable agricultural ecosystem while delivering eco-friendly fuel alternatives for biofuels, pharmaceuticals, and industrial applications. We are currently seeking a high-caliber Head Factory Operations to lead our production site, drive operational excellence, and champion continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations across all production stages, including milling, fermentation, distillation, and CO2 recovery.
- Drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and ensure near 100 percent plant availability through rigorous maintenance scheduling and execution.
- Optimize utility consumption and champion energy efficiency initiatives, specifically focusing on biogas and waste heat recovery systems.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing cross-functional technical team to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and innovation.
- Manage operational budgets, enforce strict regulatory compliance, and implement cost-control strategies to maximize profitability.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 7 to 15 years of progressive operational experience within ENA, ethanol production, or industrial distillery environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in factory budgeting, resource allocation, and adherence to environmental and safety regulations.
