In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our operational efficiency by ensuring our heavy-duty power generation systems run reliably and safely. Key Responsibilities- Perform independent troubleshooting, diagnosis, dismantling, repair, and reassembly of gas generator engines and alternators.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance services, including routine oil changes, filter replacements, and precise spark plug adjustments.
- Conduct both minor and major engine overhauls to extend equipment lifespan and reliability.
- Test and tune generator systems meticulously to ensure optimal performance, maximum fuel efficiency, and strict emissions compliance.
- Execute electrical diagnostics on complex control panels such as Deep Sea and ComAp, wiring harnesses, and excitation systems.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of verifiable, hands-on professional experience specifically in gas generator maintenance and overhaul.
- Prior experience working with reputable engine brands like Caterpillar, Jenbacher, Cummins, or Perkins is a strong added advantage.
- Demonstrated core competency in diagnosing and completing major repairs independently from start to finish.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of gas fuel systems, ignition systems, and electronic governors.
- Relevant technical diploma, trade test certificate, or a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Must be willing to work in or successfully relocate to Igbesa, Ogun State.
