About the Role
Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) is a prominent network of science-oriented, co-educational day and boarding schools operating across Nigeria since 1998. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated French Teacher to join our vibrant academic community and inspire our students to achieve fluency and a deep appreciation for the French language and culture. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping students' linguistic abilities and preparing them for academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive French lessons aligned with the approved school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to improve language proficiency.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
- Organize and facilitate extracurricular activities, such as French clubs or cultural events, to promote practical language use.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and grades in accordance with school policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Bachelor's Degree in French Language, Education, or a related field (Master's degree or teaching certification is an added advantage).
- Proven experience teaching French at the secondary school level within a reputable educational institution.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage diverse groups of students.
