About the Role
Bradfield Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Foundation QA/QC Engineer to implement and monitor quality assurance and quality control procedures for piling, diaphragm wall construction, and geotechnical works across Nigeria. The ideal candidate will ensure that all construction materials, processes, and documentation strictly comply with approved engineering designs and international quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Review project specifications, approved drawings, method statements, and inspection and test plans.
- Inspect bored piling activities, verify pile location, borehole depth, verticality, and cleanliness.
- Coordinate concrete sampling, testing, laboratory submissions, and review pile integrity and load test results.
- Identify and document non-conformances, and coordinate effective corrective and preventive actions with site teams.
- Prepare comprehensive daily and periodic quality reports, maintaining accurate inspection records and material certificates.
- Ensure all on-site foundation activities strictly adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
- B.Sc., B.Eng., or HND in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five years of relevant QA/QC experience in piling, deep foundations, diaphragm walls, or geotechnical construction.
- Strong working knowledge of construction quality assurance, technical drawing interpretation, and non-conformance reporting.
- Willingness to be based in Lagos, Nigeria, and deployed to remote project sites across the country as required.
- Open to international applicants with verified relevant background and a readiness to relocate to Nigeria.
