We are currently looking for a dedicated Field Specialist - Cementing to join our dynamic team in Nigeria, where you will play a crucial role in delivering safe, compliant, and efficient cementing operations for our clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Field Specialist - Cementing, you will be responsible for:
- Providing leadership and mentorship to field crews while ensuring cementing equipment readiness, inventory management, and crew planning.
- Ensuring strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards by implementing the Safety to Perform program and conducting risk assessments.
- Managing cementing operations by verifying crew competency, safety compliance, accurate job calculations, and adherence to contract requirements.
- Coordinating safe operations by confirming equipment readiness, validating job programs, and facilitating stakeholder communication.
- Executing timely post-job reporting, equipment inspections, maintenance checks, and accurate job ticket processing for invoicing.
- Validating workforce readiness, crew competencies, and lifting certifications while promptly reporting equipment deficiencies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of a two-year technical degree.
- At least 5 years of hands-on onshore or offshore oilfield service experience in pressure pumping and cementing operations.
- Demonstrated ability to safely run and maintain cementing units as a subject matter expert.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the oil and gas industry and service delivery standards.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a strong commitment to teamwork and communication.
