About the Role

Key Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial Gas and Diesel Generators to ensure a reliable and continuous factory electrical power supply.
- Manage the daily operation and upkeep of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical switchboards in compliance with strict safety standards.
- Inspect, service, and maintain factory LV transformers to guarantee optimal electrical distribution efficiency and prevent unexpected downtime.
- Conduct regular electrical system inspections, diagnose faults promptly, and execute necessary repairs to minimize operational disruptions.
- Maintain accurate logs of generator performance, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and electrical system readings.
- Adhere strictly to company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies during all operational and maintenance activities.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), City and Guilds, or equivalent certification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven hands-on experience in operating and maintaining industrial generators, MV/LV switchboards, and power transformers within a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety protocols, power distribution systems, and industrial maintenance best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges under pressure.
