About the Role
UPDC Plc, a leading institutional property company in Nigeria with a rich history dating back to 1997, is seeking an experienced, proactive, and technically competent Facility Manager to oversee operations and maintenance across our diverse portfolio of residential estates and commercial assets.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the maintenance and operation of building systems, including HVAC, electrical installations, generators, plumbing, and fire safety equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to ensure optimal asset performance.
- Manage residential estates, coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, and ensure prompt resolution of complaints and service requests.
- Supervise internal technicians and external contractors, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
- Prepare operational reports, manage facility budgets, control costs, and monitor utility consumption efficiently.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Estate Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in facility management and residential property operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of building services, asset management, and vendor supervision.
- Excellent administrative, financial control, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
