Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee a diverse portfolio of litigation and dispute resolution matters across various courts.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, contracts, and transaction documents.
- Provide strategic legal and business advisory services to local and international corporate clients.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare thorough legal opinions, briefs, and memoranda.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and opposing counsel to achieve favorable resolutions.
- Mentor junior counsel and contribute to the continuous professional development of the legal team.
- Possession of an LL.B degree from an accredited university with a First-Class or Second-Class Upper division.
- BL qualification and active call to the Nigerian Bar.
- An LL.M degree or other relevant advanced professional qualifications will be a strong added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of cognate post-call experience as a practicing lawyer, with demonstrable expertise in litigation and commercial transactions.
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and legal drafting skills.
